You could also donate by credit card to Hospice through the Just Giving website: you go to www.justgiving.com/hospiceafrica/donate (or to www.justgiving.com and select Hospice Africa Ltd as the charity). Donors who pay UK tax can agree to use Gift Aid which increases the value of the donation by a 25% tax re-fund plus an extra 3% from the government.

The money comes to Hospice Africa within a few days of being donated, with about a month's delay on any Gift Aid tax re-fund. Just Giving charge about 7% for credit card donations - so from a donation of £100 plus Gift Aid (£128 in total) we receive about £119.

Sponsorship using Just Giving

If you are taking part in a sponsored walk or similar event, you can open your own page on www.justgiving.com/hospiceafrica and give details of what the event is, when it will take place and what project you would like to support. Then tell your friends so that they can make donations. The donations will be sent to Hospice Africa.
